Hope

I made several pieces with the word, "hope," in them while going through a long term depression.  Art and Hope definitely helped me to keep going.

Dragonflies are a major theme in my work because they represent hope and transformation to me.

10 x 10 x .75 inches on birch wood cradle board.  Acrylic paint.

The letters, HOPE, are pictures of butterfly wings that I Photoshopped.

The dragonfly is collaged from butterfly and flower pictures.
