It was inspired by North Myrtle Beach, S.C.
This piece is full of texture and 3D elements. The water is a mixture of calcium carbonate and gesso. The sand is a mixture of actual N. Myrtle Beach sand, super heavy gesso and matte super gel.
The birds were made from modeling paste and hand-made papers.
