Your Wings Already Exist

"Your Wings Already Exist.  All You Have to do is Fly."

I haven't actually counted, but I'm pretty sure the majority of my pieces have butterflies and/or dragonflies. They are magical in how they transform and fly. Many of my pieces are about soaring or flying, which represents freedom.

It is mixed media and has different papers in the background to evoke grass which are topped with fluid acrylic paint. The art board is covered with acrylic paint.

The yellow page behind the phrase is the dictionary definition for the word, "fly."

The sun, butterflies and dragonfly are 3D and made with modeling paste.

The butterfly on the top right has a picture of a bird on its wing.  

The knot in the tree is made with gold fabric paint.

The butterflies, dragonfly, sun and leaves are covered with glass beads.
